Orbit Trampoline Club

Russ Jackman is our head coach and holds the Senior Club Coach award and is a Coach Tutor. The Club Coach award is held by Genni Jackman, Dave Tydeman, Lesley Hay and Penny Smith. The Coach Award is held by Sue Garnham, Gemma McMeekin, Kathryn Bowles and Alison Edwards.
Genni Jackman, Karen Young, Helen Billingham Alison Edwards, and Ann Roberts hold the Judge Award. Penny Smith and Lesley Hay hold the County Judge Award.

We also have three unqualified volunteer coaches, so we are a club with plenty of support and input for the performers. This interest is invaluable for the life of the club.

To date our club boasts a competitive range of grades 6 to 1, where we have five performers at the top, ranging from 9yrs. to 17. In November 2002 Martyn Howard achieved British grade 2 Champion in the boys U15s event, and went on to take the title again in 2004 at U18 level. In July 2003 Lorna Smith became British Synchronized Champion in the U11 girls event with her partner from Kingston Kites club, Billie Murphey. Lorna’s best individual place at Grade 1 so far is 5th. In November 2003 Jez Billingham was 4th. in the British Championships at grade 2 boys U11s. In November 2004, Emily Young was 2nd. by the tiniest margin at grade 2 of the British Championships U11 girls, Jez was 10th. in the U13 event and Hugh Sullivan was 6th. in the U11 boys.

Hugh, Jez, Emily Martyn and Lorna all compete at grade 1 this year and we all hope for great things from them and wish them luck.

We have many excellent other jumpers at all grades and ages but space prohibits a mention of them all here but other space will be found in the future.
