Orbit Trampoline club, which welcomes all children and adults, and those with special needs, caters for pure recreational performers and competitors to National and international level. Trampolining is an exhilarating sport, toning muscles, developing strength, co-ordination, confidence, courage as well as cadio-vascular fitness.

The Kingston Gymnastics Centre, Winchester Circle, Milton Keynes.
This used to be the home of the renowned Kingston Kites Club, inorgorated by the our late dear friend, Paul Luxon, Britains first World Trampoline Champion. After his death, it was taken over by Brian Moore, Paul's coach, who also saw a decline in health, and the club experienced difficulties until it shut down in May 2008. Since then we have worked with the Trustees and Directors and the old club coaches to create the new club that operates today. Paul may rest easy as some of his original cometitors still hit the heights. More information on the Kingston Kites Club

Russ and Genevieve Jackman founded the club, are both qualified teachers of P.E. English, Art, Special Needs, and with later additional degree qualifications.

We now have in excess of three hundred members one of whom remains from our original two and is one of our most accomplished performers and a qualified coach. From that early beginning we have had to ‘acquire’ five trampolines, four replacement beds, nine throw-in mats, six end decks and pads, and a twisting rig and harness.

We believe in making trampolining fun and giving members a happy and friendly environment in which to to train.

If someone shows potential for competition, then once per week will be inadequate, and we will encourage them to attend more often, training initially for novice and beginner competitions, with a view to embark on graded competitions if they wish.

Parties

On Saturdays, Sundays and School Holidays we are more than happy to do a trampoline party for you.  Please ask or phone for details   01908-313048 / 07752427604

What to wear?

It is important to wear the correct clothing for safety reasons.  Please do not wear anything with zips, buttons, belts or anything that may catch in the trampoline bed.  No jeans. Socks should always be worn.  Hair should be tied back neatly if long or likely to fall into the eyes. No jewellery should be worn as a rule, but small earrings which stay close to the face are ok.

PARENTS

are asked not to stay watching while training is in session because this can be very distracting and therefore potentially dangerous, as well as over- crowding in the limited space.  Parental support and interest are of course very important and there will be time to observe progress etc. for ten minutes at the end of each class.  We are always happy to discuss matters with parents, the club has an open door policy. Drinks should be provided for children as they will work up a thirst, but these should be in a plastic sports bottle, and must be drunk away from the trampoline and mats as spillages can cause accidents.

FEES

Casual sessions cost £4.50p per hour class and are on a first come first served basis. We operate a waiting list and if a permanent space becomes available you may reserve a place. The fee then drops to £3.75 per hour, payable four weekly in advance. Payment invoices are sent out one week before payment is due. An annual FAMILY membership fee is also payable. The payment is for the reservation, not the attendance. All absences must be paid for. However, if you are unable to attend your class you are welcome to send a friend in your place. Payment must be made in advance to guarantee your reserved place. For late payment there is an admin. charge of £5.00p. We require two weeks notice if you are leaving.
